Inventory Service Program Manager
Business Unit: GE HealthcareFunction: ServicesResponsibilities: *Drive reductions in excess and slow moving inventory across Global Part organization by creating a Global Inventory Deployment Strategy.
Cross functionally lead efforts to drive America's inventory reduction to meet global inventory target including bi-weekly management reporting.
Lead efforts in developing visibility and predictability tools/dashboards to consistently beat the inventory and obsolescence commitments.
Develop and track programs that meet or exceed inventory, and Obsolescence target.
Lead sales efforts of slow moving and obsolete material through reseller's marketplace.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: *Bachelors Degree with a minimum of 3 years experience in Supply-Chain, Engineering, or related operations; OR Associates Degree with a minimum of 5 years experience in Supply-Chain, Engineering, or related operations.
Knowledge of supply chain management including order processing, inventory control, and logistics.
Strong focus on driving customer satisfaction through business process improvement
Data mining, manipulation and reporting using MS Excel.
Willingness to work a flexible work schedule.
Willingness to submit to a background investigation, including for example: verification of past employment, criminal history and educational background.
Willingness to travel up to 20%; including overnight stays when needed.
Willingness to take a drug test.
Candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States.Desired: *Ability to think strategically and influence decisions with key business leaders.
Ability to work cross functionally with many departments and levels in the organization.
Strong communication, team-facilitation and conflict resolution skills.
Financial analysis experience.
Asset management experience.
Data analysis using MS Access.
