Inventory Coordinator

This position is responsible for processing necessary paperwork and computer changes to insure proper methods of merchandise movement throughout the store and between warehouses with the guidelines of company policy and consistent with our Mission.

Duties

Processing necessary paperwork and computer changes to insure proper methods of merchandise movement throughout the store and between warehouses with the guidelines of company policy and consistent with our Mission.

Resolve inventory related problems for the store by acting as the resource for other personnel that are picking, reasserting and/or attempting to correct discrepancies

Run reports to verify quantity and type of merchandise arriving from the distribution centers

Receive Slumberland merchandise and ship via company and courier services (UPS, mail, etc.)

Process inter-store transfers in an accurate and timely manner by keying them into the computer and finalizing according to pre-established procedures

Reorder stock and show floor merchandise as needed

Responsible for reporting accurate inventory numbers to the Warehouse Manager dailyJob Requirements

High school diploma/GED or in process of acquiring

1-2 months related experience and/or training.

Basic Math Skills (add/subtract 2 digit numbers; multiply divide with 10's and 100's.

Ability to perform operations using units of money and weight measurements, volume and distance.
