Del Laboratories, an OTC pharmaceutical and cosmetic company headquartered in New York, is currently recruiting for an Inventory Control Supervisor in our Rocky Point/Wilmington, NC manufacturing facility. The Inventory Control Supervisor supervises 2 Cycle Counters. Extended work schedules as well as daily and weekend overtime as required.ResponsibilitiesScheduling and revising shipment plans to ensure efficient distribution of products to satisfy Del Laboratories, Inc.’s customers.Analyzing inventory levels, production speed and product demand to determine reorder levels which will ensure product availability and minimize inventory costs.Requirements
Must demonstrate self-direction, and an ability to work with minimal supervision.Accuracy and timeliness of maintenance work orders.
Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office.
Goal oriented individual with strong communication skills.Supervisory experience.
Inventory experience.
College degree or an equivalent.
Minimum three (3) years experience in the field or in a related area and knowledge of manufacturing activities.
Must be able to work extended hours and weekends as required.
Ability to interact with Manufacturing, Customer Service, Purchasing, Marketing and Sales.
Required knowledge of basic distribution methods, GMP, scheduling, MRP, and basic computer skills a plus.
Must have experience managing a cycle count group.
Worked for a large company with sales in excess of 400 million.
Worked in a multi-plant environment.
Must be experienced with a bar coded inventory systems.
