Inventory Clerk

Super Vision International (NASDAQ-SCM: SUPVA), a world leader in solid-state LED and Fiber optic lighting systems and controls, is looking for an experienced Inventory Clerk to join our Operations Department. The ideal candidate would have experience working for a manufacturing company.

In this position, you will:

Perform all related tasks and functions associated with incoming inspection and inventory control in accordance with established Company policies, procedures and workmanship standards.
Perform cycle counts.
Inspect parts as required, completing accompanying paperwork.
Count the number of parts received and validate to internal documentation, including identifying and reporting discrepancies if found.
Inspect parts to assure that the parts are those ordered and invoiced by checking the part number (and description) to that ordered. Report any discrepancies.
Inspect parts, identifying those that do not meet specifications or have been damaged before they were inspected.
Check parts, stock in inventory and input into the inventory management system. Assure physical inventory counts coincide with the balance indicated in the system, identifying discrepancies and making corrections.
Responsible for performing all duties and activities and for maintaining the work area in a safe and responsible manner assuring compliance with all established laws and regulations regarding workplace and individual safety. REQUIREMENTS

<SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: Arial; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman'">A high school diploma, GED or equivalent plus at least one (1) year of directly related manufacturing experience is required. <o:p></o:p></SPAN>
<SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: Arial; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman'">Experience in receiving inspection and/or inventory control is required.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN><o:p></o:p></SPAN>
<SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: Arial; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman'">A working knowledge of basic business level math, including addition and subtraction, along with the ability to use a standard calculator is also required.<o:p></o:p></SPAN>
<SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: Arial; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman'">Some ability to use the computer for data input and retrieval is also strongly preferred. <o:p></o:p></SPAN>
<SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: Arial; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman'">Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.<o:p></o:p></SPAN>
