RESPONSIBILITIES

Independently determine warehouse needs through use of warehouse inventory reports and internal computer-generated reports in order to replenish all regularly stocked SKU's for assigned warehouses.

Compose replenishment orders and track shipments of those orders. Maintain order and shipment files.

Accurately input all orders shipping from plants to assigned bailment warehouse locations, in the order entry system.

Submit Customer Exception Claims on a timely basis to Plants for investigation of problem shipments and pursue response if necessary.

Perform transactions to consolidate inventory in system for items that are not considered to be unique to the warehouse location. Research and resolve inventory discrepancies with the assigned accounting reconciler. Maintain and update flags in system regarding listing status. Maintain data base of customer product codes in AS400.

Make recommendations regarding products that need to be returned to the plants. Execute authorization of this movement with the state involved and route the documents to the appropriate people. Monitor pending returns and initiate any needed follow-up on the movement of goods with Warehouse or Traffic.

Approve invoices up to the authorized level.

Maintain ongoing communication with warehouse employees, state employees and sales to resolve any inventory issues or for special inventory needs.

Contribute to preparation and distribution of reports. Participate in formal project teams and activities. Assist with project implementation.
REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS

•Bachelors Degree in Business or related field.
•Minimum one year of relevant inventory experience.
•Must have strong analytical and math skills.
•Strong communication and organization skills.
•Working knowledge of Microsoft word processing and spreadsheet software.
•APICS certification a plus.
