DISTRIBUTION MANAGER

Chicago based consumer company is seeking a Distribution Manager. The Distribution Manager oversees all distribution activities and supporting warehouse staff, establishes operational policies and processes, negotiates rates for freight shipments including LTL international air & ocean, ensures DOT compliance with CTPAT experience preferred. This role coordinates all distribution warehouse activities with the sales, purchasing, production and customer support departments to ensure availability of merchandise and timely deliveries to maximize sales. Candidates should possess demonstrated skills in labor efficiency improvements.
REQUIREMENTS
Position requirements include a minimum of 10+ years Distribution experience, with at least 5 years of management experience. Strong communication and organizational skills; Bachelor's degree, MS Office proficiency, specifically in Excel and ERP system experience are required, Crystal reporting experience preferred. Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.
