BUYER ~ INFANT / TODDLER / LAYETTE

THE COMPANY: One of the leading Big Box Retailers specializing in full price/off-price top designer fashions for Men, Ladies and Children has an exciting opportunity available for a dynamic executive to join their team and continue and expand their business!

Responsibilities:
-Buy basics for Infant/Toddler/Layette department
-Development of merchandise assortment and business strategies to drive sales
-Negotiate with vendors
-Forecasting and analysis of business results
-Identification of hottest trends
-Planning of product assortment
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
-Must have a minimum of 3-5 years experience Buying Infant, Toddler or Layette specifically in off-price, Big Box, multi-unit environment
-Must know how to manage and run a department for a mid-size chain store
-Having knowledge of BOTH well-known brand names and unbranded goods is a MUST!!!
-Buyer will know how to negotiate prices and find opportunistic deals
