Overview:
This position is responsible for maintaining and/or developing a system of tracking company hardware and software. This position includes the functions of tracking, reporting, auditing and defining better process to efficiently track company assets.
Job Description:
•Direct coordination of all processes involved in tracking PCs and their configuration, including operating systems, hardware and software.
•Manages asset tracking software and provides related reporting as necessary.
•Creates and oversees the testing procedures of asset tracking system changes/configurations.
•Manages purchasing process for company hardware and software as it relates to the Asset tracking system.
•Develops new workflows and processes to enhance asset tracking efficiency and oversees implementation of such.
•Provides procedural development, verification, implementation and documentation.
•Performs all other duties as assigned.Job RequirementsJob Requirements:
•Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience required (concentration in business or technology preferred)
•Three years experience in inventory control/asset tracking and purchasing required.
•Previous working experience with PC configuration to include installing operating systems, hardware and software preferred.
•A+ certification preferred
•Experience in developing and maintaining Asset Management software preferred.
•Superb customer service skills and communication skills.
•Two years project management experience preferred.
•Extensive experience with shipping and receiving processes.
