Position Title: eProcurement Project Manager
Travel Percentage: 10-25%
Job Summary:
Sets the strategic direction, and acts as a leader, influencer, and strategic catalyst for eProcurement implementations, including automation, that will provide profitability and productivity opportunities to major business partners regionally and globally. Accelerates and drives the execution of the global contract repository by integrating enterprise strategic visions and initiatives with BU/SSU objectives. Is proactive in expanding the Ariba system functionality to improve the value of the system to regional and global business partners. Takes projects from original concept through final implementation, including global rollouts of new Ariba modules.
Job Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree
6 or more years of DIRECTLY related experience.
1. Project Management Institute Project Management Professional Certification or equivalent.
2. MBA or equivalent educational or work experience preferred.
3. CPCU and/or other designations preferred.
4. Proficient in using computer based tools.
5. In-depth knowledge of tools, concepts, methodologies and techniquesof business process reengineering, change management. Performance metrics and measures, customer assessment, cost/benefit analysis, benchmarking, process mapping/simulations, data collection, problem identification.
6. Knowledge of insurance industry including knowledge of insurance business processes.
7. 'Hands-on' management experience at multiple levels in insurance industry.
8. Knowledge of existing and emerging technologies and how those technologies can be used to improve insurance business processes.
9. Enterprise-wide project management experience.
10. Familiar with organizational design and development.
