Aon’s account and relationship managers form a comprehensive perspective of our clients’ organizations, matching our expertise to their business strategy.Currently, we have an exciting career opportunity for an Underwriting Representative in the Lawyers Division of Affinity Insurance Services, a division of Aon Corporation, Hatboro, PA office.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Review and underwrite Lawyers Professional Liability applications within authority level; refer firms with recommendations to carrier, process money-bearing endorsements and other notices; analyze material in applications and request additional clarifying information, interact positively with sales and carrier personnel to promote success and ease of doing business.SPECIAL SKILLS:
P&C license required within 6 months of hire, PC skills, good analytical skills. Must be customer-service driven and interested in making a positive difference. Strong verbal and written communication as well as interpersonal skills are necessary. Candidate will be a team player that can demonstrate flexibility in a changing environment.MINIMUM EDUCATION:
College or equivalent work experience.MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:
At least 2 years of Property/Casualty insurance experience in customer service or similar area or college-level insurance coursework. Prior underwriting/risk selection experience is a plus. Some familiarity with insurance policy forms.
