One of the country's leading independent insurers is searching for a bright, energetic individual for their underwriting department in Mesa. Qualified professionals should have 5-10 years of underwriting experience within an auto insurance environment. Agency experience is a definite plus. A minimum of 3-5 years in a managerial capacity with thorough knowledge of Arizona state insurance a must. Leadership / team development skills necessary to develop, promote and improve customer service while maintaining quality of performance. Position requires an individual with a "hands-on" management style who is flexible and willing to participate and assist with the underwriting clerical workload. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience necessary. Excellent communication skills as well as computer skills required.
