College degree preferredMinimum work experience required: Insurance experience strongly preferred. Further preference given to candidates with experience in professional liability, E&O, D&O and EPLI product lines.Special skills required: Demonstrated superior verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.Description of duties & responsibilities: The individual selected will be responsible assisting the chief underwriter and product directors with the adminstration of regulatory filings with state departments of insurance. Duties include the preparation of correspondence, maintenance of files and updating of filing charts. In addition, the individual selected will be responsible for a variety insurance processing activities as assigned including issuance of binders and policies, invoicing and payment issues, and cancellation of policies. Additional responsibilities include extensive inbound phone contact with insurance agents which requires a solid understanding of company's processes and product offereings. May be required to assist other units as appropriate.
