Underwriter/Manager

He/she will proactively manage rate/pricing adequacy and competitive market pricing conflicts, build and maintain productive external relationships (broker/client) and build productive internal relationships with support service partners. He/she will be responsible for establishing a Zurich presence with regional management for major production sources as well as manage regional resources, processes and workflows. Initial training for the ideal candidate will be in NYC. Position may be moved, In 2007, to our San Francisco office. Salary and title depends on years of experience.
Job Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent Underwriting experience required. 3-7 years of experience in D & O required. E & O, Fiduciary and Crime a plus. Excellent written and oral communication skills required.
