We will be relocating to a downtown location at year end.POSITION SUMMARY: Currently, we have an excellent career opportunity available for an Underwriter II for Aon Warranty Group. This position will initially be located in Glenview before relocating to downtown Chicago.ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Primary responsibilities for this position include the timely development of warranty and related product, including data analysis, pricing, eligibility rules, service contracts, and specifications for implementation. Analysis and follow-through for Corporate profitability targets. Ensure products meet compliance guidelines. Interact with many other departments and replicate best practices. Contribute to the training of Associate Underwriters. Represent Underwriting at product meetings. Ability to handle projects independently. Primary focus in electronics, appliances, computer, furniture, etc. product lines.REQUIRED SKILLS
Qualified candidates must possess 5-7 years of warranty or related insurance experience. Significant experience in management of multiple projects and product design development in related products. Data analysis, accuracy, and consistency skills required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, PC proficiency and MS Word and strong Excel skills required.REQUIRED EDUCATION
College degree with major in business, finance, economics, insurance, math, statistics, or related field.
