Property Underwriter (E&S)

Excess/surplus, Reinsurance, Brokers and Agents, Managing General
Agents, Third Party Administrators and Self-Insured Corporations in
the Northeastern United States. These companies are offering high

REQUIREMENTS
Must have 10+ years of Property and Casualty
insurance experience to include large account property underwriting,
excess & surplus and/or facultative reinsurance. Position will
produce and underwrite new and renewal business from major
retail/wholesale markets for excess and surplus lines property
business. Must have knowledge/experience with major retail and
wholesale producers and knowledge of current market trends and
conditions. Proven production underwriting success on large property
account segment. In-depth knowledge of property coverages, forms,
layering and excess pricing as well as strong analytical ability and
proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word. Candidate should possess
excellent communication, decision making and collaboration skills and
the ability to multitask in a fast paced environment. Catastrophe
modeling experience a plus. Ability to develop and maintain
successful relationships with producers, brokers and reinsurers while
providing outstanding service is necessary. Must follow underwriting
guidelines/procedures established for SRS. Will be responsible for
profitability of assigned book of business.
