Title: Supervisor, Claims


Position Summary: Supervises a staff of employees in support of Caremark's Paper Claims processing operations. Works with Claims Management to ensure quality and timeliness of claims payment in accordance with client requirements and standard operating procedures.

Position Requirements: Some college preferred, Bachelor degree in Business or Management preferred. 0-3 years or previous experience in pharmacy and/or medical claims processing preferred. Previous supervisory experience required. Knowledge of claims adjudication principles; knowledge of government regulations in regards to claims adjudication; understanding of human resource policies; ability to run a high volume production team with an emphasis on quality output in excess of 99% accuracy; excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact with internal partners and clients in a professional manner; ability to make sound operational decisions in a fast-paced, high stress environment; good command of Excel, Word, Powerpoint.
