We are currently seeking a Senior Human Resources Business Partner / Generalist to oversee human resources functions for a client group as well as implement HR strategies and programs to support business goals and initiatives. The successful candidate will develop, maintain and nurture a working relationship with their assigned client group(s), so as to understand business needs and objectives and effectively deliver creative Human Resource enhancement programs and strategies.

Specific responsibilities include:
Demonstrate comprehensive organizational knowledge and understanding of the business
Act as a consultant regarding organizational and performance issues, such as reorganizations, prioritization of projects, and reengineering of processes
Work with management on opportunities to improve quality and productivity in an ever-changing business environment
Serve as a consultant on a broad range of employee relations situations and prepare responses in consultation with Legal and the appropriate management
Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of legal environment and surrounding employment and employee relations
Identify issues and trends and counsel management in the development and implementation of Human Resources interventions
Partner with the Talent Acquisition department in the acquisition of talent and with Compensation, Benefits and Corporate Learning in the retention and development of that talent
Actively lead process improvement work teams as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
Our ideal candidate will possess:
Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field or equivalent work experience plus five to seven years HR generalist experience
Demonstrated hands-on experience in application of employment law and direct work experience in two or more HR disciplines
Strong computer skills with exposure to Human Resources database systems and Microsoft Office Products
Core HR knowledge/delivery
Excellent communication (both verbal and written), presentation, relationship building, change management skills
Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems independently
Problem-solving, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
