Sr. Claims Specialist

Our business helps people protect what they value and deal with the unexpected.This position is for a Senior Workers' Compensation Claims Specialist reporting to the Aliso Viejo office. The position will handle California jurisdiction claims.The ideal candidate will be located in California and have prior California workers' compensation claims handling experience.Qualifications:BA/BS Degree preferred or equivalent work experience handling claims.Prior experience in a fast-paced, multiple priority, customer-focused claim handling environment are required. Five years + claim handling experience are preferred.Excellent interpersonal, customer service skills are a must. Candidates should exhibit effective written and verbal communication skills, solid decision making abilities, prior experience with personal computers, and knowledge of MS Office software.Responsibilities:Candidate must be proficient at handling AOE/COE issues, conducting/coordinating thorough investigations, evaluating claim exposure, conducting effective negotiations, and successfully manage litigation matters.Candidate must be able to independently produce high quality work on a consistent basis.No relocation assistance provided.
