In this position you will be responsible for:

• Providing expert technical direction for projects dealing with specialized applications of system analysis and programming.
• Conferring with personnel of organizational units involved to analyze current operational procedures, identify problems, and learn specific input and output requirements.
• Consulting with management and other development teams to clarify systems and programs intent, identify problems, suggest changes, and determine extent of application systems changes required.
• Software design and web application development
• Formulating/defining system scope and objectives.
REQUIREMENTS
A successful candidate will have:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to communicate professionally at all levels within and outside of the organization.
• Ability to interact cordially with other employees to accomplish common tasks is essential to this position.
• Ability to adhere to a regular work schedule is essential to this position.
• Advanced technical knowledge of applications development, systems analysis, and programming methodologies.

This position requires the successful completion of a BA/BS in Computer Science and 2 + yrs of related work experience. Must have three years experience with Visual Basic, Visual Basic for Applications, Microsoft SQL Server and Minisoft Drivers. Proficient in Java, J2EE (EJB, JSP, Servlets, XML, JDBC), ASP HTML 4.0, JavaScript, RPD/400, SQL, IBM Webshere Application Server. Familiar with standard software and Quality concepts, practices, and procedures. Excellent working knowledge of MS applications and possess good problem-solving and decision making skills.
