Process short-term disability claims claims
Provide exceptional customer service service *Ensure customers' short-term disability claims are paid in a timely and accurate manner manner *Maintain working knowledge of changes in DMS Department processes/contract language changes/updates*
Interpret benefit coverage per department standards and training to resolve claim status questions
Communicate to claimant and/or employer required information related to the STD claim*
Access information from variety of systems and references to process/manage claims
Effectively record all contacts, discussions with customers inappropriate systems*
Request required claim information from claimant, physician and/or employer to process new and on-going STD claims
