REQUIREMENTS
Must have 10+ years Property and Casualty insurance
experience underwriting umbrella business with a major carrier.
College degree or equivalent, knowledge of audit process and CPCU and
continued education is preferred. Must be proficient in Microsoft
applications and willing to travel countrywide 25-50%. Will assist
senior VP in development, implementation and refinement of assigned
product line(s) underwriting strategy. Hold HO authority and operate
as highest level of technical regional referral for assigned
region(s). Participate in technical development plans for all
underwriting associates. Stay abreast of customer and market needs
and stimulate development of responsive filings and products.
Participate in Reserve Reviews. Analyze, evaluate and regularly
report upon quality of portfolio. Oversee the achievement of pricing
objectives, profit improvement plan and other loss ratio results
drivers.
