Nor-Lake, Inc., a recognized force in the manufacture of commercial and
scientific refrigeration equipment has an opening for a Safety Specialist. Responsible for coordinating & facilitating all company (plant and office)
safety related programs and insuring compliance with all Federal, State, and
Local regulations and standards in the areas including but not limited to
Safety, Health, Ergonomics, Hazardous Communications Program, Hazardous Waste
Management Program and Employee Right To Know Programs. Coordinates Facility Maintenance functions with Facilities Maintenance
Supervisor to insure all appropriate maintenance functions are performed
safely. POSITION REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE: 3-6 years experience in program development and execution in plant
Safety/OSHA/Environment Regulatory and Reporting functions in a manufacturing
environment. Proven background experience in Plant Safety, Health Ergonomics, Haz-Com,
Haz-Waste, and Employee Safety Program Training. Demonstrated successful career performance in coordinating mechanical
