SBI Underwriter

Responsibilities:
Are you an individual with demonstrated analytical skills, decision-making abilities and sales aptitude? SAFECO is looking for highly accomplished players to join our commercial underwriting team. This position demands a professional with a track record of success. Have you demonstrated an ability to profitably grow a book of business? This position requires an underwriter capable of developing relationships with their agents and brokers, and managing an underwriting field. Additional job responsibilities include: contribute to growth and profitability goals, performance of agency analysis, review of applications for risk characteristics, loss experience and pricing, and serve as the key contact for agents on new and existing business.Qualifications:
Qualifications include work experience analyzing risk and account selection. Four year degree preferred. Ongoing professional development, strong analytical and decision making skills and excellent oral and written communication skills. Solid interpersonal skills are imperative.
