Do you put the needs of the clients first?We are looking for a Sales Consultant to cover territory from Beaumont to El Paso, Amarillo to South Padre Island. Most of the clients are in Houston, Austin, and San Antonio. This is a newly created position with a track to run on and a lot of room for growth. Plan on about 4-8 nights of O/N travel a month. The Sales Consultant will represent the firm in a sales and consultative capacity conducting group and individual meetings on-site at the company's Top 30 group clients, ranked by assets. This position offers extensive client interaction with high profile clients! The primary responsibilities will be:
To enhance the Company’s relationship with the participants at the largest clientsCross-sell individual products during on-site group and individual employee meetingsIncrease enrollment in group plans and obtain new enrollments for the Company’s Individual Products (IRA/FPA)Increase the contributions and obtain transfers from current group plan participantsConsult with participants regarding the investment alternatives offered under the contract, asset allocation modeling, etc.This is a work hard, play hard environment. They like to laugh and joke around and have a good time while they are working.
REQUIREMENTS
You MUST:
Have at least one year of Financial Sales experience (mutual funds, insurance products, retirement, etc)Have a college degree, series 6, 7 and 63Be comfortable presenting and taking on a consultative approach to the sales process.The ideal person is: Someone who is bilingual.
