Regional Wrap Up Director

Performs responsible, client-focused duties in connection with the sales and administration of wrap up insurance programs, including interaction with project Sponsors, contractors and insurers, and supervises overall direction of staff within the region engaged in specific wrap up projects. This individual will be responsible for the Southwestern Region consisting of Dallas, Atlanta and Colorado. They can reside in either location. This position will require approximately 50% travel.Specific Duties:
1. Participates in or conducts presentations to project Sponsors for new wrap up business, working in concert with the Regional Wrap Up Director and other appropriate Aon personnel.
2. Participates in origination and syndication activities for new and existing wrap up accounts in conjunction with other Aon staff, as appropriate.
3. Provides syndication staff with marketing data prior to submission, reviews policies and provides comments after wrap ups are written, and coordinates Bridge data with syndication staff in order to invoice wrap up premiums and fees.
4. Oversees the initiation of wrap up administration processes and procedures for new programs, assuring that project Sponsor and insurer interests are addressed and that Aon staff involved in the project are adequately prepared to undertake the program.
5. Oversees and is responsible for the financial performance of assigned wrap-ups projects.
6. Acts as the Aon point of contact for multi location CCIP's whose administration is performed on site by multiple Program Administrators.
7. Arranges for the execution of Service Agreements for wrap up projects.
8. Conducts meetings with Sponsors and insurer representatives on a periodic basis or as required to discuss project status, resolve problem issues and resolves major contractor issues.
9. Oversees project Implementation Plans, including selection, coordination and issuance of the suite of AonWrap reports to be provided monthly to the project Sponsor.
10. At a minimum, annually participates in and conducts stewardship meetings with project Sponsors to evaluate program progress and issues.
11. Oversees subordinate staff working on assigned projects, including completing the Performance Management Planning process, recommending salary adjustments and bonuses to the Regional Wrap Up Director, scheduling career development training, and approving staff weekly Time Tracking reports.
12. Reviews periodic project claims reports and arranges for and participates in periodic claims review meetings with Sponsors and insurer representatives.
13. Oversees the activities of Aon safety staff in assuring contractor compliance with all established owner safety policies and procedures, and with federal, state and local governmental safety regulations.
14. Evaluates project risk conditions, identifies program modification needs and provides this information to Aon marketing staff in order to amend Wrap Up insurance coverages.
15. Performs related program functions as required.Requirements:
College graduation; college level coursework, or its equivalent, in insurance or risk management is highly desirable.
Possession of an insurance broker, agent or producer license in the project's state of operation.
A minimum of 5 years, with 7 years preferable, of progressively more responsible experience in the insurance field, preferably with experience in the area of construction insurance.Skills and Abilities:

Extensive knowledge of construction practices, construction project administration and construction insurance.
Ability to effectively supervise subordinate staff.
Ability to handle multiple, non congruent tasks simultaneously.
