Regional Insurance Manager

Within assigned region: Direct and oversee corporate insurance marketing policies, objectives and initiatives. Review changes within the Agency, regional marketplace and general industry and adjust marketing plan accordingly. Primary responsibility is the development and oversight of assigned financial advisors for insurance related production.

1. Responsible for formulating and implementing a Regional Marketing/Management Strategy (RMS). Work with President to determine, then implement, comprehensive marketing/management plan.

2. Within the parameters established by corporate management and within budgetary constraints, manage time, resources, expenses, assigned personnel and infrastructure necessary for the successful completion of the RMS.

3. Responsible for managing time and resources to ensure the Region maximizes its contribution to the corporate mission and overall goals.

4. Responsible for recruiting, developing, monitoring and managing all assigned USAN advisors to an agreed upon, signed Insurance Business Plan (IBP), including tier support level with parameters. Review and assist the activities of these advisors to assure the achievement of IBP goals.

5. Formulate, create and interface with strategic partners in order to coordinate necessary marketing/support/educational materials needed for successful implementation of IBP.

6. Act as primary liaison to all assigned advisors representing Agency and strategic partner relationship.

7. Ensure the morale and welfare of assigned advisors are maintained through vigilant application and implementation of appropriate Agency strategies and procedures.

8. Work to develop, grow and enhance strategic partnerships that are in agreement with corporate goals and strategic plans.

9. Develop an annual Regional budget to support all functions identified with the RMS. Work with President to determine budget and receive approval.

The position includes a base plus commission and expenses. The candidate will make commission on his own accounts, and some override on the insurance business generated by the FA's in his region. The position also includes a traditional benefits package.
REQUIREMENTS
3 - 5 years experience
Prefer CLU, ChFC, Series 6
