REVIEW MANAGER - APPRAISAL DEPARTMENT

Job Description/Summary of Position:
Responsible for management of review staff and processes including the overseeing of report quality assurance and time service requirements. Assists in the recruiting, hiring and training of additional review staff to meet business needs. May assist in managing office operations including personnel recruiting, hiring and training. Regular contact with appraisers, managers, and customers. Works as part of management team to improve product quality, review capacity, time service, and work environment.
REQUIREMENTS
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
•Responsible for overseeing the internal electronic and/or paper processing of field reports at a consistently high level of accuracy and volume, for electronic and/or paper delivery to Cornerstone customers.
•Responsible for hiring, orientation, training and management of assigned employees, which includes the completion of scheduled performance reviews and execution of any required disciplinary action(s).
•Responsible for analyzing and recommending solutions that will improve internal workflow, quality control and electronic processes.
•Work with regional managers to ensure appraisers are advancing through performance levels and making recommendations for promotion and/or demotion based on performance.
•Regular contact with appraisers and managers, including some customer contact.
•Ensure that product is in compliance with company and customer standards.
•Escalate more complex questions to management as required.
•Advises and assists review personnel on workflow, policy and training functions in support of the national appraisal staff.
•Managing the review process to a 48 hour time service goal while maintaining company standards of quality assurance.

Required Education, Experience & Competencies:
•Bachelors Degree
•Property underwriting or appraisal experience is a plus.
•Above average analytical and customer service skills.
•Detail-oriented.
•High level of proficiency with email systems, Microsoft Windows, Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite.
•Insurance background beneficial.
