Provider Data Processor

Qualified candidates will maintain current and accurate demographic and network data such as provider name, tax identification number, physical and billing addresses, phone number, fee schedule identifier, effective/termination dates associated with network eligibility and appropriate internal system codes to identify network affiliations on the provider file system(s). Incumbent will also resolve edits assigned to the Provider File Team by selecting the appropriate provider record for the claim submitted. The successful candidate will also identify and maintain TIN (tax identification number) owner information on the provider and tax system as well as administer back-up withholding, 1099 IRS penalty tape and b-notice processing in accordance with IRS regulations in addition to maintaining IRS Disc system. The incumbent will also respond to written and verbal inquiries concerning provider or network data. REQUIREMENTS


Qualified candidates should have a minimum of 6 months to 1 year of network operations related data maintenance experience as well as strong administrative skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate with company personnel regarding data issues is a must.
Accurate and fast data entry skills required. The successful candidate should also possess good organizational skills and the ability to complete multiple projects / tasks in a timely and accurate fashion. The successful incumbent will be self-motivated to work independently. Medical Claims and Insurance background are a plus.
