Policy Support Specialist

Large Health Insurance Company in the Fort Worth Area is seeking a Production Support Specialist to help with implementation of new business and renewal rate increases for all product lines. Implementation of new products on LSP/S400 and new plan code. Check and verify daily letters for rate increases. This position also performs analysis spreadsheets for premium comparisons. REQUIREMENTS
Implement rate increases once approved. Check and verify the quotes and valid increases before staging is complete.
Implement new business rate increases for approved trends.
Plan code set up fro new product and revised benefit structure for trend.
Test new products and rate increase trends.
Create rate books for filings, information services, and agents.
Scan rate increase files and approvals.
Competitive rates Analysis- monitor accuracy of implementation of rate increase and research and resolve discrepancies.
Must have a High School Diploma and be proficient in Excel, Access, and AS400.
Must have 2 years insurance or related field and understanding of insurance rating systems.
Must have good communication and organization skills and attention to detail and accuracy.
