Policy Services Analyst

We are the largest marketer of student health insurance in the country. Our Policy Services Analysts are charged with developing all policy materials, including initial bid policies, plan brochures, enrollment and waiver cards, etc., using MS Word, Quark Express and Adobe.
REQUIREMENTS
The primary responsibilities of this position, in order of priority, are as follows:


Develop Bid Policies from state filed forms for College and K12 lines of business.

Coordinate with Underwriting and Sales to finalize plan designs for final bid proposals.

Create and issue Master Policies for College and K12 lines of business.

Create Brochures and Plan Materials (temporary ID cards, waiver forms, enrollment forms, etc.) for College and K12 lines of business.

Publish plan materials to the web for insureds and internal portal repository.

Facilitate print process to ensure deadlines are met and that Sales, Compliance and Underwriting approve plan materials prior to printing.


Secondary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:


Provide problem and status reporting.

Assist with special projects as needed.

Assist with systems enhancements, including testing and problem resolution.

Other duties as assigned by management.

Skills Required:


Intermediate to advanced computer proficiency in a windows-based environment.

Strong computer keyboarding skills.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Superior diplomacy skills and professional office demeanor.

Extremely detail oriented, with strong organizational, planning, prioritization and analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.

Ability to balance multiple tasks with competing priorities in a fast paced environment.

Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
Experience with Quark and Adobe preferred.

College Degree or equivalent work experience (2+ years claims/health insurance industry experience) strongly preferred.
