PMM Practice Leader

Individual will be responsible for managing growth and profit objectives for $8 M+ PMM book. Book includes inland marine, ocean marine, cargo and boiler but is heavily weighted toward large, health care property business. Individual will work closely with local, remote and zone leadership to effectively manage the the Tennessee territory. Territory includes three distinct metropolitan areas in Tennessee and will require occasional overnight travel. Agency management skills are critical as over 50% of the book is with a large Willis branch in Nashville.

Ideal candidate should have at least 2 years Property & Marine arena underwriting experience. Candidate will be required to review and evaluate new and renewal business in accordance with established underwriting guidelines in order to achieve department goals of profit, rate and growth.

This position requires an individual who possesses leadership skills with the ability to organize, lead and contribute to diverse teams both within the branch and through external resources. The candidate should demonstrate success in marketing and sales skills such as negotiating, relationship building, prospecting and customer service and demonstrate good communication skills. who can organize their work well and utilize multiple internal/external resources in an efficient manner. Candidate must be a team player and demonstrate they can work cohesively with service staff, loss control and claims.
