PART-TIME Warranty Claims Processor/Analyst

Job Duties:
Individual will analyze claims to ensure proper amounts are paid on contract coverage/limits and dealer agreements utilizing automotive related reference materials. Maintains accurate and detailed documentation on all transactions. Corresponds with customers, dealer personnel, service and sales representatives. Individual will also review, analyze, investigate and authorize mechanical claims pertaining to a wide range of established contract guidelines. Determines the appropriate authorization amount based on contract guidelines and uses judgment combined with mechanical knowledge in each situation. Communicates effectively by telephone with retail and wholesale customers, repair facilities and non-related parties using required customer service skills.
REQUIREMENTS
1. High School diploma or equivalent work experience.
2. Bi-lingual – English/Spanish, a plus.
3. Experience in automotive skills and service drive
operations a plus.
4. Experience as a warranty processor and/or dealership
background a plus.
5. Must possess above average organization and time management
skills.
6. Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
7. Proficient knowledge of general office equipment, PC
applications and mainframe systems.
8. Excellent telephone skills and experience in working under
strict deadlines.
9. Must possess strong analytical skills and a team player
attitude.
