Medicare Sales Representative

This position will be responsible for inside sales of our company's Medicare Advantage health insurance product to eligible Medicare beneficiaries in the assigned region. Sales duties may include the coordination of potential enrollments, data entry, and the scheduling of appointments and marketing events.

Duties will also include enrollment of the prospects in accordance with applicable guidelines and standards. Extensive training will be provided to insure that all sales representatives have the necessary product knowledge and expertise, as well as the ability to establish monthly goals, maintain consultative selling skills, develop community marketing and sales skills, close ratios on leads, follow all corporate and CMS policies and procedures, maintain a reporting structure, and be a team player.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of bachelor’s degree or two year associate/technical degree plus one year experience in health care/managed care
Previous Insurance sales experience preferred.
Must have insurance license in all states where you will sell
Must be self-motivated, detail- oriented and have the ability to effectively multi-task.
Must enjoy fast-paced environment with constantly changing demands, and be able to work independently with little supervision. Individuals possessing strong communication skills and compassion and patience to work with the Medicare population are encouraged to apply.
