ICW is currently seeking TWO Managers of Insurance Systems to join our growing IT department!
This position requires a detail-oriented, highly energetic and motivated promoter of an iterative development lifecycle approach in the production of software deliverables. Insurance experience is required.
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Manager, Insurance Systems will plan, direct, and coordinate the activities of business analysts and virtual teams in providing deliverables that meet customer satisfaction in function, quality, timeliness and cost.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
With a high degree of independence, this position is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high quality requirements to the development team and implementing effective project management tools and methodologies to ensure on-time on-budget delivery through the use of virtual teams. Must have excellent communications skills and ability to effectively interact with senior management.

REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university and five to ten years related experience for multiple insurance companies in managing teams using industry standard project management, requirements management, and best practices; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Extensive knowledge and experience in business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and leadership. This position must have extensive experience in managing large teams in both development and conversion efforts.
