Manager, Agency Training

The Manager, Agency Training (MAT) is responsible for the training and development of new agents and FSAs with the objective to increase sales skills. The MAT also supports the ongoing development of Career Producers and Field Management. Finally, the MAT is responsible for partnering with the Managing Director to foster a marketing environment in the agency. Key objectives for this position include:
•Training and coaching new sales professionals in their development, with a focus on relationship-based sales, cross-selling and marketing and sales skills.
•Support increased performance and retention levels for all sales professionals.
Recruiting & Selection
Managers, Agency Training are responsible for partnering with the agency management team in the selection of qualified new agents.Training and Development
Managers, Agency Training are responsible for creating, maintaining and integrating consistent delivery of training in all offices, including detached, for Financial Services Associates, Career Producers and Field Management. Other general responsibilities include:

Assisting with facilitation at centralized training programs, as needed.

Supporting the rollout of key business initiatives

Support new product introductions, as needed

Lead agency training around common problems or issues; identify additional training needs and communicate to Managing Director and Manager, Financial Services.Drive for Results
Managers, Agency Training supports the achievement of Agency’s goals for expenses management, recruiting, production, profitability and compliance.
Job Requirements

Strong communication, facilitation, interpersonal, problem solving and team building skills.

Proven proficiency in relationship driven sales process and selling skills.

Ability to coordinate and deliver training in various locations.

Proven ability to transfer skills and knowledge; track record of success in developing others

Ability to assess development needs of sales professionals (new and career).

Demonstrated proficiency in technology applications including distance-learning tools.

Achievement orientation; track record of success in previous roles

Problem-solving skills

Organization/time management skills

Presentation/oral communication skills

Active in professional and community organizations

Maintain all appropriate licenses as required by the company

Knowledge of financial services products and markets

2-4 years of financial services experience

Industry designations or currently pursuing (CLU, ChFC, LUTC, CTLC)
