Licensing Specialist

The Licensing Specialist provides technical and administrative support in processing licensing requests for licensed agents and agencies to insure legal compliance.

Duties: * Assists with carrier specific projects related to appointments and items needed for commission release and account coverage.
* Oversees the maintenance of several department (shared drive) working files (e.g. officers list, profiles, HR reports, etc.).
* Assists with the creation of new hire files as needed.
* Assists with a variety of department projects as assigned.
* Protects all licensed individuals and Lockton agencies from regulatory actions.
* Safeguards all personal data and the confidentiality of all licensed Associates with respect to sensitive material.
* Will work to assist in the maintenance of our licensing database and department's central files.
REQUIREMENTS


- Bachelor's degree in business related field preferred or equivalent administrative work experience.
- Minimum of 3 years prior business experience.
- Proficient with all general office skills, Microsoft Office and Internet research.
- Ability to handle personal & confidential information.
- Work independently or as a member of a highly cohesive team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment that is deadline-driven.
- Interpersonal skills to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external customers.
- Ability to work with all levels of the organization.
- Must be able to prioritize a very heavy workload with exceptional organizational and time management skills.
