Junior Underwriter: 3-01-002

Location: 7580 E. Gray Road,Scottsdale,ArizonaGB Home Equity is seeking a Junior Underwriter for our growing Scottsdale Arizona office. We are seeking a motivated and energetic individual to be a key part of our Underwriting team. This person must possess solid organizational and time management skills. As a Junior Underwriter for GB Home Equity, the primary responsibilities will be: 1) Reviewing and recommending loan applications for approval by an Underwriter. 2) Initiating and reviewing home appraisals and title searchs. 3) Obtaining all documentation and certifications necessary for closing the loan (e.g., flood certification, employment verification). 4) Assist in the scheduling of loan closing. 5) Tracking vendor performance and resolving issues with Third Party suppliers. 6) Inputting loans into the processing system, as well as, general office duties such as document routing and file maintenance. This qualified candidate must have completed a high school level education or equivalent (GED) and relevent work experience.
