Insurance Verification / Pre-registration Coordinator

You will be responsible for timely and accurate insurance verification for both inpatient and outpatient services; contacting insurance companies /facilities to verify benefits as well as use on-line web tools to verify insurance. Knowledge of insurance carriers and/or plan preferred. Must possess excellent customer service skills with ability to work quickly and accurately and project a professional image in a busy environment while managing multiple demands.
REQUIREMENTS
Excellent verbal and written skills required.

Ability to type at least 40wpm with 3 or fewer errors.

Applicants with knowledge of insurance plans and at least 1 year experience in a healthcare setting are strongly preferred and will be considered first.
