Insurance Claims Representative, Property Damage

High Point Auto Insurance Insurance High Point Insurance is seeking a Claims Representative, Property Damage in our Red Bank, NJ location. Responsible for the handling of Auto Claims in accordance with NJ Unfair Practices Act. Strong customer service, organizational, verbal, and written skills. Process auto claim files, including processing first report opening coverage, and establishing in reserves. Interprets policy provisions and coverages. Investigates and adjusts all types of auto claims. Includes contacting first and third party claimants and witnesses. Determines proximate cause, negligence and damages. Assesses the liability of all parties involved. Prepares dispatch instructions for field personnel, when necessary. Adjusts reserves as necessary.
