Insurance Agency Support

Greets and assists visitors, policy holders, and vendors.
Answers all incoming telephone calls for the Agency Office.
Types correspondence, maintains office manuals, and files
Provides policy information, schedules appointments, and may assist in completing reports and forms.
Utilizes knowledge of insurance and policies to determine effects of changes requested (e.g., type of coverage, method of payment, premium needed, etc.)
Determines need for more data to process new application/change and obtains it.
Inputs information and generates appropriate correspondence and forms.
REQUIREMENTS
Appropriate state license(s) for insurance sales/agent.
Inputs information and generates appropriate correspondence and forms.
Knowledge of general clerical practices and procedures.
Demonstrated knowledge of basic insurance concepts and principles.
Demonstrated oral and written communication skills, maintaining confidentiality, and ability to deal with people of diverse cultures, education, backgrounds, etc.
Demonstrated customer service skills and ability to tactfully deal with people
