ABOUT OUR TEAM
This one office with two separate branch/territorial operations, led by Jeanne Rondeau, Vice President and Vickie Sprague, Vice President, are writing mid to large general liability and property brokerage accounts generated exclusively through contracted wholesale brokers using A+ XV paper.

AVAILABLE POSITIONS
Senior Brokerage Underwriter
Must be able to individually risk underwrite, negotiate, and service mid to large brokerage accounts from contracted wholesale brokers in a defined territory and in accordance with underwriting authority granted. E&S Brokerage Products Liability experience needed. Developing broker relationships is important towards developing a profitable book of business so some travel and entertaining is required. Ideal candidate will have Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or 15 years related insurance experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Assistant Underwriters
Must be able to support the individual risk underwriting, negotiating, and servicing of mid to large brokerage accounts from contracted wholesale brokers in a defined territory. Must be able to handle a developing book of business within an underwriting authority as granted. Ideal candidate will have a background in contract underwriting, brokerage underwriting, or high level underwriting assistant work; knowledge and use of computer programs in a Windows environment, including Word, Excel, and e-mail. ISO Net; ISO Tel; Silverplume & Rating Programs and The Internet. Bachelor's degree or 5 years related insurance experience and/or training.
