Health Safety Enviroment Specialist

Overview: Centrilift, a division of Baker Hughes, Inc. (BHI) and the global leader in the electric submersible pumping industry, has an immediate opening for a Health, Safety and Environment Specialist IV. This position will be based in Tulsa, OK. The candidate will frequently travel in Oklahoma and to Texas and the Gulf States. We offer excellent compensation and benefit programs.Responsibilities:
Conducts safety and/or environmental audits and inspects facilities within geographic area of responsibility to ensure a safe working environment and compliance with regulatory laws. Runs formal investigations of incidents and/or instances of non- compliance. Reports findings and appropriate alerts. When required, develops programs/systems and training to prevent or lessen future occurrences. Conducts orientations, visits work sites, and distributes literature to implement and promote safety and/or environmental policies and procedures.
