Group Health Account Manager - Columbus Ohio

Looking for an Experienced Account Manager to be based in Columbus Ohio.Target group size is 250+.Responsibilities include:retention, cross selling, enrollment, client presentations etc.

Base salary (40-60K)+ commission
REQUIREMENTS
Account Manager:

*Responsible for providing an effective single contact point for major account clients regarding all aspects of plan operation--such as installation, administration, policies and procedures, periodical plan reviews, renewals, plan changes, ongoing servicing.
*Accountable for developing, implementing and monitoring policies, procedures, reporting and service support for accounts.
*In many cases will be the primary client contact.

* Some experience with Self funded Groups and Products

TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION, CANDIDATES MUST MEET OR EXCEED ALL OF THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:

1. At least 3 years sales experience WITHIN THE HEALTH INSURANCE ARENA in the employee benefits industry
2. Working knowledge of the brokerage and insurance community
3. History of meeting and exceeding sales goals
4. Self-starter personality that doesn't require a constant supervision
5. Extensive understanding of self-funded/ASO groups
6. Consultative sales approach
