Senior Claims Consultant - Property

Excess/surplus, Reinsurance, Brokers and Agents, Managing General
Agents, Third Party Administrators and Self-Insured Corporations in
the Northeastern United States. These companies are offering high

positions.
REQUIREMENTS
Must have Property and Casualty insurance experience.
8-10 years experience in commercial property and marine claims
handling is a must. Candidate should also possess experience in
business interruption, rental income and extra expense claims. Will
work with clients and key customers in receiving, reporting,
monitoring and handling commercial property claims. Also work with
assigned adjuster and any client representative to assist in
reviewing and applying coverage application and assist in speedy
settlement of claims in a fair and reasonable manner. Provide
coverage application interpretation when a difference of opinion
occurs between the adjuster and company as the client's advocate.
Will update information in the IT claim systems and use the Imaging
System to capture the file information. When necessary assist in
subrogation handling and salvage recovery. Assist the client, as
requested, with claims that are below policy deductible or outside of
policy coverage but for which the insured wants a recovery from the
wrong doer. Strong analytical and problem solving skills with
excellent communication and presentation skills is necessary. Should
have the ability to manage and maintain good customer relations.
Limited overnight travel and overtime may be required.
