Due Diligence Analyst - (DW13382)

This position could be based in Concord, NH or Hartford, CT.

Conduct due diligence review of investment products offered through Jefferson Pilot Securities Corporation and Lincoln Financial Advisors.

Prepare verbal and written due diligence reports on investigations of investment issuers and products in compliance with internal guidelines as well as guidelines established by the NASD, SEC and federal and state regulatory agencies.

Recommend approval/disapproval of new products, services and sponsors proposed for sale through JPSC and LFA.

Review, monitor, and request modification where appropriate to selling agreements with sponsors.

Educate internal staff and field force on product information and decisions through written articles, product profiles, electronic publications, internal presentations, and via telephone.

Field representatives’ requests for new products and inquiries of the status of such requests.
Manage review process according to formalized review/approval schedule, as communicated to field.

Support proprietary advisory programs.
Bachelor’s degree required, preferred concentration in business, finance or related field.

NASD Series 7 license preferred, required within 6 months of hire. NASD Series 24 required within 12 months of hire.

Must have strong analytical skills, critical thinking skills, and decision making ability.

Excellent oral and written communication skills required.

Must have ability to manage a high volume of work flow while maintaining attention to detail.

Ability to comprehend and assimilate large amounts of information essential.

Must be able to carry files/objects up to 25 lbs.
