Customer Service / Call Center / Phone Interviewer

Must have call center type of experience* Must have Medical background of some sort• Examine, perform, research and make decisions to properly handle telephone and written inquiries • Receive, organize and make daily use of information regarding benefits, contract coverage, and policy decisions • Maintain external contacts with policyholders, providers of service, agents, attorneys and other carriers, as well as internal contacts • Interpret contract benefits with claims processing guidelines to policyholders, agents and providers, with a positive and professional approach • Send out refund request letters
REQUIREMENTS
• 37 hour full time work week (1/2 days on Thursdays or Fridays) • Reliable (with excellent attendance), responsible, flexible, team oriented • Work longevity preferred • Customer call center experience • Insurance experience strongly preferred (especially medical/Medicare/claims) • Typing speed minimum 30 wpm • Ability to read and interpret Explanation of Benefits • Ability to speak effectively and clearly over the phone with patience • Medical terminology and basic knowledge of claims processing a plus • Company offers excellent benefit package upon eligibility* Computer experience is necessary* Bi-Lingual a huge plus*
