Position Title: Coordinator of Educational Development - Specialty Claims

Travel Percentage: Minimum

Job Summary:
The ideal candidate for this new position will coordinate all Claims Adjuster educational programs for US offices. Responsibilities include:
Assists with researching appropriate training vendors and ensuring that the presentation fits the continuing education requirements
Assists with the communication and marketing of the training programs
Tracks vendor invoices and coordinates program logistics including managing training calendar, booking conference rooms and necessary equipment and reproducing materials for attendees.
Assists the manager with the evaluation of vendors and training classes.
Responds to and handles requests from employees and managers regarding training courses.
Manages database including tracking continuing education credits firm-wide and designs and updates detailed metrics reports.
Other responsibilities in the future may include providing administrative support and analysis to Claims Operations on special projects, and serving as a liaison for Claims Operations in dealing with internal/external customers, as well as conducting research, analyses and interpretation on technical and operational issues at request of Director of Claims Operations.

Job Qualifications:
Qualifications: College degree required. Experience coordinating educational/training programs required. Insurance experience a plus. Will consider people with teaching background. Strong computer skills including database experience required. Strong organizational and communication skills required.
