Community Citizenship Analyst

We are currently seeking a candidate for a Community Citizenship Analyst to work in our Community Citizenship department. The ideal candidate will have both strong communication and analysis skills. This person should be highly proficient in the creation of reports and graphs and be able to conduct research and analysis, providing summaries, recommendations and insights designed to move the organization and the department forward. Other duties include, but are not limited to:

Key Job Family Responsibilities

- Develops and implements systems to enhance the ability to administer department programs and responsibilities
- Provides support to users of department systems
- Compiles, prepares, and interprets forecasts, data and reports
- Represents the department on special projects and committee teams
- Creates, analyzes and interprets data relative to community outreach and impact
- Assures that project and service objectives align with department and zone goals and strategies.
- Maintains confidentiality of internal information
- Uses software capabilities and develops specialty applications
- Assists with the annual planning process, especially budget
- Provides business information through summaries, reports and presentations
- Coordinates and lead projects with the goal of achieving completed staff work
- Evaluates internal processes and makes recommendations for operations improvements
- Coordinates, develops and assists with projects in on or more of the following Community Citizenship functional areas: communications, community development, community relations, company giving programs, issues management, media relations, pr/marketing, and government affairs
- Develops messages and communications for specific audiences
- Provides communications expertise
- Self-managed, strong analytical skills, with some research background or expertise

- Responsibilities may vary depending on the role of the incumbent
- May be required to work irregular work hours
- May be required to work nonstandard work hours or work week
- May be required, up to 30% of the time, via commercial transportation and or drive motor vehicles, to various State Farm Business locations, seminars, conferences, and/or industry meetings
- Expected to be involved or continue involvement in company sponsored education and training courses where applicable
- Expected to complete applicable training programs or equivalent work experience
- Expected to have a high level of proficiency in the use of Microsoft WORD, Excel, and PowerPoint and creation of charts and graphs
