Commercial Property Sr. Field Examiner

Commercial Property Field Examiner Company Car Provided Western Washington TerritoryResponsibilities: The Sr. Commercial Property Examiner will be responsible for inspecting and evaluating Commercial Property damages. The Sr. Examiner will manage a territory and handle claims requiring detailed investigation and evaluation of damages and coverage. The Sr. Examiner will write and review property estimates and negotiate with customers and service providers (i.e. contractors) to settle claims up to specified monetary limits. This position requires the Sr. Examiner to visit and interact with insureds, claimants, agents and service providers.
Qualifications: A background in Commercial Property claims is preferred. Prior property estimating experience is required. Qualified applicants must possess proven judgment and decision making skills as well as the ability to multi-task, analyze information and learn quickly. Applicants must show demonstrated conflict management skills, concise written and verbal communications skills and the ability to deal with ambiguity. Candidate must be able to maintain composure in adverse situations and have the ability to analyze coverage. Applicants must be motivated and able to provide superior customer service, as well as demonstrate a sound work ethic. Computer proficiency with a good understanding of Windows-based technology is required. This position will require travel within the Region, when necessary. Candidate must be flexible with their work schedule.
