Client Service Generalist - NY-Client Services II - Guy

Job Summary:



Work side by side with a team of professionals to support the servicing needs of clients.

Duties will vary depending on office and department needs. During first year, colleagues participate

in Mentor/Training Program, designed to help accelerate integration into the organization and gain

technical knowledge of risk management, reinsurance and insurance principles, as well as build

a colleague network for information and support.



Responsibilities may include duties in one or more of the following areas:



1. Processing billings and/or collecting funds to be disbursed to clients. (Accounting)

2. Disburse funds collected from reinsurers to clients according to service

excellence goals. (Accounting)

3. Coordinate collection status on assigned accounts and report findings to client

and internal parties as required. (Accounting)

4. Processing accounting and/or claim reports generated by clients and

reinsurers. (Accounting and Claims)

5. Identify and verify coverage for reported client claims notices. (Claims)

6. Maintaining/updating files and systems. (Accounting and Claims)

7. Determining renewal status of expiring contracts for assigned clients. (Claims)

8. Arrange routine audits with clients and reinsurers when necessary and to update

management with audit reports. (Claims)

9. Assist with contract wording to ensure contracts are drafted and finalized to meet

agreed upon provisions. (Contracts)
REQUIREMENTS


Educational/Experience Requirements:



1. Undergraduate degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 is required.

2. Prior business related internship experience preferred.3. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
